True to its tagline, White Pine Ski Resort has been creating memories for a lifetime. The resort opened in 1940 and was home to one of Wyoming’s first cable tows. Nowadays White Pine sports 25 trails that are perfect for snowboarders and skiers of all skill levels. The resort also has a 35k loop for Nordic Skiers. Riders are blessed with fantastic views of the Continental Divide, Wind River Mountains, and Fremont Lake once they reach the top of the ski hills. Skiers and snowboarders won’t be disappointed with the number of trails that range from easy to more difficult hills.

Ski in

White Pine Ski Resort is home to some spectacular log cabins located at the base of the ski hills. The cabins are perfect for families or groups typically with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, a fireplace and a barbecue on the deck. They are exactly what you would imagine in a ski lodge, rustic, cozy and comfy. It’s hard to beat the classic Après ski evening spent on the deck looking out on the ski hills just outside your door.

Year Round Fun

Of course White Pine Ski Resort has some of the best skiing in the area but what a lot of people don’t know is that it also has many other recreational activities year round. In the winter, adventure seekers can enjoy; horseback riding, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Rental shops are available in the area to help with equipment if necessary.

The summer brings plenty more opportunity for adventures as well. Downhill mountain biking and cross country mountain biking are some of the more popular sports at the hill. For those looking for a more relaxing time at the hill, the chairlifts offer amazing views of the surrounding area. Hiking, camping and fishing are also favoured past-times at the mountain.  Make sure to check the rules and regulations when it comes to camping on the mountain to ensure safety.
