Snow King

The only mountain resort located in the town of Jackson, Wyoming – Snow King Mountain Resort offers adventures of all kinds whether the summer or winter months. Snow King Mountain has thirty-two trails across over four hundred acres of ski terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. In the summer these hills double as hiking and biking trails as well. No matter what the season though, a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain will give you spectacular views of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park.

Winter Wonderland

Snow King Mountain’s claim to fame is their FIS standard race hill. In fact, it’s the steepest North facing race course in all of the United States. If you are feeling daring, take a ride down the hill, imagining yourself among some of the best speedsters in the world. For the more beginner skiers there are six great hills to choose from to get you learning the ropes. The beginner and intermediate hills are also separate from the expert trails, which means you can feel safe taking your time getting down the hill at your own pace.

With three different sized lifts, skiers and snowboarders can feel confident that lift lines will not ruin their day. It would be a shame to miss any time on snow, especially with the average of sixty-six inches of fresh powder that fall every year.

Summer Escape

Summer months at Snow King Mountain bring an entirely different atmosphere but one that is just as loved by adventure seekers. Biking trails at the mountain range from, beginner to intermediate for any skill level. Hiking is also very popular at Snow King Mountain with the beautiful views as a reward for your hard work. Kids will love the giant roller coaster at the base of the mountain as well. As Jackson’s only Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster, the coast is built up over forty-three feet above the ground and carries riders through four circles and six bridges. It’s not something to miss if you plan on visiting the mountain during the summer.

Snow King Mountain is only a ten-minute walk from the Town Square, which offers a variety of places to sleep depending on budget. Rental equipment is also available at the hill for great prices. You are bound to have a great time at Snow King Mountain no matter what season you decide to travel in.
